- access to riparian data
- summary statistics for waterbodies
- resources for conservation and restoration
Join the 3rd Annual Riparian Web Portal Contest with Lakeland College
Environmental Science students learn how riparian health data is collected and network with environmental professionals. They discover real-world projects and help you showcase your organization or community's work. Prizes are available for the best "Project on the Ground." Learn more, and register below.
During the 2025 contest, we will be working with Lakeland College's Agriculture Sustainability students, guided by the student's professor, Dr. Nicole Nadorozny.
Contest Timeline:
- Jan 24th, 2025: Registration deadline
- Jan 27th - 28th: Riparian Web Portal 101 training for students.
- Feb 6th: Contest launches! Coordinators receive their Lakeland student team's contact information.
- Feb 6 -13th: Students schedule and meet with their project coordinators.
- Students submit the final copy of their submission and it is uploaded to the portal.
- March 24th and 25th: Students present their projects (coordinators are welcome to attend) and prize winners are announced!
