Membership
Types of memberships:
1. Organization Members
Organizational Members are any body of people who share the vision of NSWA. For voting purposes, organizational members receive only one vote, in the form of a designated 'Declared Member' representative. In the event that the declared member cannot attend the Annual General Meeting or any other members meeting, an alternate representative must be named. 2. Individual Members
Individual members are any person interested in the watershed. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERHIP FORM

Our membership is diverse and consists of organizations from Industry, Government, Agriculture, Research, Education, Municipalities, Aboriginal Communities, Health and Environmental Organizations. We currently have over 200 members and are pleased to accept membership from other interested individuals, groups, companies, or organizations.
Membership is open and free to all organizations and individuals that live and operate in the North Saskatchewan Watershed and/or whose interests are consistent with the purpose of the society.

Membership Benefits:
- One vote at the Annual General Meeting and all other Special Meetings.
- Opportunity to become an elected member of the Board of Directors.
- Participation in collaborative planning and concensus-based decision-making.
- Membership in an active network of individuals and organizations working together to create a a watershed where ecological integrity is the foundation for environmental, cultural, social, and economic decision making.
Membership Responsibilities:

Attend member meetings and the Annual General Meeting

Function within a collaborative, consensus based approach.

Adhere to and support the Vision and Mission of NSWA within their communityand sphere of influence.

Work with other members to implement NSWA projects and activities

Act in accordance with the NSWA bylaws.
